Theodore T. Carellas
Ted Carellas received his law degree from the University Of Georgia School Of Law in 1984, where he served as Chief Justice of the Law School Honor Court. Mr. Carellas also received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Georgia in 1981. He was elected Phi Beta Kappa at the University of Georgia.
A native of Savannah and member of the Georgia, Savannah and Effingham Bar Associations, Ted graduated from Calvary Day School in Savannah, where he was named the top high school journalist in the State of Georgia by the University of Georgia School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Ted has also held a number of leadership positions, including past President of the Parish Council of St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church, Chairman of the Savannah Greek Festival, President of the Effingham County Exchange Club & President of the Rincon-Springfield-Guyton Lions Club.
Mr. Carellas has been licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia since 1984 and is admitted to practice in all Georgia courts, including the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court.
Ted has practiced law in the Effingham and Chatham County, Georgia area for over thirty years. Previously, Mr. Carellas was a shareholder with the Savannah based law firm of Hunter Maclean, and was associated with the Atlanta-based law firm of Alston & Bird. His practice is broad-based with concentration in real estate, general business, general litigation and personal injury matters. Mr. Carellas is also counsel for the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority.
Chris Murphy
A native Savannahian, Chris Murphy attended the Savannah Country Day School. In 2008, he graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a B.A. in English, and subsequently attended law school at the University of Mississippi. Chris made his way back home, and has been licensed to practice law in Georgia since 2013, and in 2015, after working a stint in real estate at a private trust, he accepted a position at the firm.
Chris focuses on a number of practice areas, including residential and commercial real estate and probate law. Chris is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Savannah Bar Association, and the Effingham County Bar Association.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys a (mostly) healthy obsession with football, making music, collecting records, reading, and spending time with his family.
